It was the primary school gathering some weeks ago.
They (I wasn’t at the last one) last met 6 years ago. In a big group.
This gathering is like a free pass. I think even among friends whom you meet very often you do not get such free pass.
Perhaps friends who see you so often need not need such ‘free passes’ to ask on your employment and marital status. They know it because I will auto-generate such responses.
That being said, being asked a few times didn’t help at all.
