21st
a countdown and full of randomness
After the end of this month, it got to be two busy months ahead for me. And some of us. (winks).
41 days to the official opening of the Shanghai World Expo 2010.
Tomorrow is our OSIM presentation.
12 April is our OKE presentation. A presentation that is simply not okay at the moment.
We need to plan our China trip.
Have I mentioned that I have settled my Hong Kong and Bangkok trip? Ha ha ha, I can’t help but repeat it over and over again.
I am financially poor. Really. This month, I won’t flash my credit card that easily (or at all). And unless you want meals at coffee shops or sub-$7/meal, try not to contact me. I will be grateful for not tempting me.
Yesterday’s sambal olio gave me the runs. And it didn’t taste nice and I felt even more sinful after that, despite it being vegetarian. Probably the pizza or baked rice were better options. But, oh well, I guess I won’t be heading back there again.
I watched “Up in the Air” twice. Much as I want to be the super flier - earning 10 million miles, I do not want a trade off - love-less life. But many Alexes would be fine I guess. Minus her “real life”.
I am thinking of how to pack my bag for China. First backpacking. Really got to minimise. And since I can’t dress too well for China and probably Hong Kong, I’ve got to make it up when I am in Bangkok. I am going to lug a 15kg luggage over, since I am always under 10kg and I bought the 20kg checked-in luggage. Since I am underweight, I make sure that my luggage isn’t.
I need to go to the supermarket again. Best if both Cold Storage and FairPrice co-exist in the same building.
I am hungry now.
And…
45 more days to China then Hong Kong then Bangkok.
And after the whole month, I need to look for a job. My “real life”.
